6-month referral tracking
Affiliate links set a referral cookie for up to 6 months. If the cookie is still present when an eligible new customer orders, the referral can be attributed to you.
30-day validation hold
After a qualifying sale, new commission stays pending for 30 days so refunds, cancellations, fraud, and invalid referrals can be resolved before it becomes withdrawable.
C$25 withdrawal threshold
Once your available affiliate balance reaches C$25, you can request a withdrawal through the DotMoose client area.

Create or sign in to your DotMoose account
Affiliate participation is attached to your normal DotMoose client account. There is no separate paid membership.
Activate your affiliate account
Open the Affiliates area in the client portal, accept the program terms, and activate your referral account.
Share your unique link
Your dashboard provides a unique referral URL. Use it when you make a useful, relevant recommendation and clearly disclose that you may earn commission.

The client area shows affiliate visits, referred signups, pending commission, available balance, and withdrawal history.
Eligible services
Earn on hosting, storage and managed services.
Commission is based on qualifying service charges paid by your referrals. Licences and other excluded charges do not earn commission.
WordPress, hosting, storage, VPS and managed services
Qualifying Managed WordPress, Shared Hosting, Backup Storage, VPS, Object Storage and Managed App service charges and eligible renewals earn 20% recurring commission.
Licences and non-service charges
Software/licence costs, domains, taxes, Product Addons and usage charges are excluded. Quote-led dedicated/custom service revenue is eligible on the service portion, but when WHMCS cannot auto-commission a manually created invoice DotMoose records the commission manually after the same validation review. Service upgrades such as additional VPS storage remain part of the qualifying service amount.
Commission follows the amount paid
For percentage commissions, a customer promotion lowers the commission for the discounted billing cycle because commission is calculated from the qualifying amount actually paid.

How long does referral tracking last?
Up to 6 months after an affiliate-link visit, provided the referral cookie remains available in the visitor’s browser when they place an eligible order. Clearing or blocking cookies, switching browsers or devices, or browser privacy controls can prevent persistent attribution. The 6-month tracking window is separate from the 30-day validation hold after a qualifying sale.
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals, duplicate identities, circular purchases, and structures primarily intended to manufacture commission are not qualifying referrals.
Can I post my link publicly?
Yes, where the platform permits it and the recommendation is relevant. Clearly disclose the affiliate relationship and follow the platform's rules.
Can I email people my link?
Only when the message is lawful and appropriate. Do not use purchased, scraped, or harvested lists, and do not send automated mass unsolicited messages on DotMoose's behalf.
Will DotMoose send me current coupon codes?
You can opt in to occasional affiliate offer kits in the client area. While useful public promotions are active, DotMoose can email current coupon codes, your referral link, and promotion ideas roughly every two weeks. You can unsubscribe from those emails without leaving the affiliate program.
Can I run paid ads?
Do not bid on DotMoose trademarks, impersonate official DotMoose advertising, typosquat, or use confusingly similar domains without written approval.
Are earnings guaranteed?
No. Commission depends on valid referrals and qualifying paid services. Traffic, conversion, retention, and earnings vary and are never guaranteed.
