Terms of service

These terms apply when you order or use a DotMoose service. Product-specific details shown on the order, invoice, or service page form part of these terms.

Your account

You are responsible for accurate account information, keeping credentials secure, and activity performed through your account or services. Contact us promptly if you believe an account or service has been compromised.

Orders and provisioning

An order is accepted when DotMoose confirms it or begins provisioning the service. Availability, delivery time, location, hardware, IP resources, and third-party services can affect provisioning. Custom or dedicated orders may require additional confirmation before they are accepted.

Billing

Prices displayed by DotMoose are in Canadian dollars unless clearly stated otherwise. Applicable taxes are added where required. Recurring services renew according to the billing cycle selected at checkout until cancelled.

Domains

Domain registrations, transfers, and renewals are subject to registry and registrar rules in addition to these terms. You are responsible for keeping registrant information accurate and for renewing domains before expiry. A domain order is not guaranteed until the registry confirms it.

Service use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. You may not use DotMoose services to harm networks, systems, people, or other customers, or to violate applicable law.

Backups and data

Unless a product specifically includes managed backup or retention, you remain responsible for maintaining copies of data you cannot afford to lose. Backup storage is a storage service and does not replace a complete backup strategy by itself.

Availability

We work to keep services reliable, but no service is guaranteed to be uninterrupted unless a written service-level agreement explicitly says otherwise. Maintenance, security work, upstream failures, attacks, hardware faults, and events outside our reasonable control can affect availability.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend a service when necessary to address non-payment, abuse, security risk, legal requirements, or material violations of these terms. Where practical and safe, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DotMoose is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use or inability to use a service. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
