Departments with a legitimate separate need, such as a public education project, association, recruitment site or distinct operational website, can request another free account. Extra accounts are never self-issued.
No charity number required
DotMoose verifies that the department is a real Canadian fire service using public or institutional evidence and separately verifies the applicant's authority to act for it.
Do volunteer fire departments qualify?
Yes. A legitimate Canadian volunteer fire department can apply even if it is not a CRA-registered charity.
What counts as verification?
Examples include an official municipal, First Nation, provincial, department, fire association or other institutional page or contact path that independently establishes the department's identity. DotMoose also verifies applicant authority separately.
Does approval happen automatically?
No. Every application is manually reviewed and no free hosting is provisioned until the organization and applicant authority are verified.
