Choose cPanel for C$2/month on a DotMoose shared hosting plan. Virtualmin GPL remains included by default; cPanel uses a separate hosting environment.

Choose a shared plan and add cPanel at checkout.

Pick a shared plan, then select cPanel.
Starter, Plus, and Pro use the same published hosting limits. During checkout, choose the paid cPanel control-panel option. Virtualmin GPL remains the included default on Standard Shared hosting.
Activation
cPanel orders are reviewed before activation.
After checkout, DotMoose verifies the selected hosting configuration before releasing the account and credentials.
Mail status
cPanel-hosted email is not currently activated.
If hosted email is required immediately, choose the included Virtualmin shared service. cPanel website hosting remains orderable.
cPanel

Databases
Create and manage databases and database users for WordPress and other supported PHP applications while keeping database services inside the hosting environment.
cPanel mailbox activation is not currently available. Customers who need hosted email immediately should use the included Virtualmin shared service.

cPanel vs a VPS
Use the control panel when it removes work.
cPanel shared hosting is designed for conventional website operation. A VPS is a better fit when the application needs server-level packages, custom daemons, custom proxy/database configuration, or root access.

For WordPress, business sites, portfolios, blogs, smaller stores, databases, and common PHP applications that fit the shared platform.
Watch resource limits
CPU, memory, I/O, concurrent processes, database work, storage, and file counts can matter before raw disk capacity does.
Move to VPS when needed
Upgrade when server-level control or measured resource requirements exceed what the shared account should reasonably provide.
Is cPanel the same as web hosting?
No. cPanel is the control-panel interface used to manage a hosting account. The web server, database, email, storage, networking, security controls, and account limits are the hosting environment behind it.
How much does the cPanel option cost?
The shared-hosting cPanel option is C$2 per month in addition to the selected Starter, Plus, or Pro hosting plan.
Do I get root access on cPanel shared hosting?
No. Shared hosting gives account-level access inside the hosting environment. If a workload needs root access and server-level configuration, use a VPS or dedicated server instead.
Can an existing cPanel site be migrated?
Yes. The migration still needs an inventory of websites, databases, mailboxes, DNS, PHP requirements, scheduled jobs, storage and the access available on the source account.
