Storage features
Connect over HTTPS with your S3-compatible application or backup software. Objects live in a bucket; this is not a mounted filesystem, VPS disk or SFTP account.
Your object data is stored in Beauharnois, Quebec, Canada.
Each service has its own bucket and storage limit. Uploads that would exceed your plan are blocked.
Each access key is restricted to its assigned bucket. If a service is suspended, access is blocked without immediately deleting the retained files.
Storage use and object counts are checked regularly. We review any setup that cannot be verified before activating it.
When a service is terminated, access is revoked and data is retained for a 30-day recovery window before deletion. See the service terms for details.
Software compatibility
Use the endpoint, region and keys supplied with your service. DotMoose has tested core object operations, multipart transfers, range reads and presigned GET/PUT against the public endpoint. S3 compatibility does not include every AWS feature, so check the operations your application needs before moving data.
Set your backup software to use the supplied S3 endpoint and credentials. Test an upload and restore before relying on a new backup job.
