Individual-IP results
These lists associate the queried address or host with their own observed spam, proxy, compromise, brute-force or abuse criteria. Providers use different evidence and expiry rules.
Reputation tools
Look up a public IPv4 address or hostname across independently operated DNSBLs and see whether a result applies to the IP itself, its network allocation, or its ASN.

A network-level result can apply because other addresses in the surrounding allocation have poor reputation. It does not prove this exact IP generated the activity.
An ASN listing is broader still. Large hosting networks can create collateral results that should be investigated separately from an individual-IP listing.
That means only that the enabled providers did not return a listing at check time. It is not a universal reputation score or an inbox-placement guarantee.
Enabled sources
The checker currently uses DroneBL, the Passive Spam Block List, blocklist.de, InterServer RBL, and UCEPROTECT Levels 1–3. UCEPROTECT Level 2 is labelled network/allocation scope and Level 3 is labelled ASN scope.
Spamhaus public mirrors are intentionally not queried by this commercial public checker because their current free public-mirror terms do not permit this use. DotMoose will only add a keyed/licensed source after confirming its terms allow a public lookup product.
Results are cached for 15 minutes and uncached reputation scans are capped daily to reduce third-party load and abuse.
Read the blacklist result explainer or use the mail reputation checklist.
Removal
If a provider lists an address, read that provider's returned detail and current removal documentation. Many lists expire automatically or use free/operator appeal paths. Do not pay for expedited removal simply because a paid option is offered, and do not request removal before the underlying abuse, compromise, identity or provider-reputation issue is understood.
