Move from Namecheap to DotMoose

Namecheap Shared Hosting and EasyWP expose different backup tools, so Easy Migration keeps those routes separate.

What to collect first

  • Whether the site is on Shared Hosting or EasyWP
  • A full cPanel backup for Shared Hosting, or EasyWP files and database archives
  • The domain name and any mailboxes that must move

Simple preparation steps

  1. Identify Shared Hosting or EasyWP in the Namecheap dashboard.
  2. For Shared Hosting, use cPanel Files, then Backup. For EasyWP, open the site and choose Backups.
  3. Download the completed archive before starting the guided move.
